Pure Country Stables is a new Boarding and Riding Facility located in

Mount Vernon, Maine.  We are are in a 20 mile radius of Augusta, Waterville,

Farmington, Livermore, Winthrop, etc.  We have chosen a covered steel barn

which allows natural light illumination for a healthy environment for your horse

and you!!  Even on a cloudy overcast day there is no need to flick a light switch. 

 

There are 20 matted airy stalls.  With the first morning light the barn is illuminated

with a soft light. 

 

We offer all day turn out in large semi-private grassy paddocks & free choice hay

fenced with new electric rope and room to expand.  Private turnout available.

 

Miles of trails.  You can go for a 2 hour trail ride without any traffic or roads. 

 

Lessons for all levels.  We love beginners!! 

 

Weekly lessons with Mary Guenzel in Dressage & Jumping

 

Summer camps half day and full day programs.  We had an awesome time

at camp this year, the kids didn't want it to end and they can't wait to do it again

next year.  Our main focus is on safety, horsemanship and fun!  The campers

get to groom, bathe and ride a horse just as if it was their own.
